Pharmacy Clinical Training - In collaboration with DPP Support. 7 modules covered over several bitesize sessions between September 2026 and March 2027

1-hour interactive clinical training sessions delivered by a GP and Clinical Pharmacist, designed to develop and strengthen pharmacists’ clinical consultation and assessment skills. Includes a 45-minute presentation, and 15-minute Q&A session.

These funded support sessions are for aspiring prescribers, DPPs and qualified prescribers.

  • Open to intending prescriber trainees, DPPs and pharmacists who have completed their prescribing competencies.
  • Designed to support safe, confident prescribing practice at every stage.

Webinars and communities of practice

  • Short, focused virtual sessions led by experienced pharmacists and GPs
  • Opportunities to collaborate with peers, share insights and discuss learning after each module.
  • Flexible session times to fit around clinical practice and work commitments.
Practical, clinically relevant learning
  • Updates on current clinical guidelines and prescribing principles.
  • Case-based discussions covering common conditions, including paediatrics, dermatology, respiratory care, pain and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Support with clinical consultation, decision-making and communication skills.
