Funded First Contact Practitioner (FCP) PG Cert Course

Health Sciences University has secured additional funding for 2026 to support First Contact Practitioner (FCP) Postgraduate Certificate courses. This means the course remains fully funded for eligible professionals working in NHS Primary Care in England.

If you have any paramedics, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, or podiatrists who are ready to take the next step in their professional development, we’d love to hear from you, or feel free to share this opportunity with colleagues or teams who may benefit.

Course information

Both courses are part time.  Stage 1 is delivered fortnightly as a hybrid model, with Stage 2 delivered monthly online.  The complete course takes around 1 year to complete.

There will be three Stage 1 intakes in 2026 in January, May and September 2026.
