Working as a Social Prescriber can be hugely rewarding, but it can also involve managing complex situations, working across organisational boundaries and supporting people with a wide range of health and social needs.

This new group supervision and coaching offer from the South Yorkshire Primary Care Workforce & Training Hub provides a supportive space for Social Prescribers to come together, reflect on their practice, learn from one another and build connections across South Yorkshire.

The programme will consist of six face-to-face group supervision sessions in Sheffield. Sessions will provide an opportunity to discuss real issues from practice, share experiences, explore different approaches and identify practical actions to take forward.

The group aims to support resilience and confidence, strengthen professional networks and provide regular reflective supervision for Social Prescribers who may not always have easy access to this within their own organisation.

There are just eight places available to help create a small, supportive and consistent group.

Sessions will take place on Tuesdays, 1–3pm at Manor Oaks Studio 1, Sheffield, on:

  • 20th October 2026
  • 24th November 2026
  • 15th December 2026
  • 19th January 2027
  • 23rd February 2027
  • 23rd March 2027
